School milk - Milk4Life Ltd are pleased to be attending the Education Show 17th - 19th March 2016. Did you know that the School Food Plan issued in January 2015, legislated that all children in primary and secondary schools are to be offered milk at least once per day every day whilst in school. Information on how to start a mid-morning milk scheme at your school, will be available at the event. Our staff are there to help you with further information on offering this extremely beneficial, nutritious drink to your children.
It's great to see milk back on the Agenda in full swing for primary school children. Many schools are now starting mid-morning milk schemes and numbers per school are looking good. Milk is so important for young children to help the development of their bones and teeth. Dentists recommend only milk or water between meals, restricting fruit juice to meal times.
Did you know as from January 2015, under the School Food Plan, the Government state that milk is to be offered to all primary and secondary school children on a daily basis! Milk is important for children as it helps provide their daily calcium requirements and many children go to school without breakfast. Getting that mid-morning drink of milk can help sustain the children until lunch-time. If you need to know more, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
